Alaina is an Associate at Engine Ventures. Alaina leverages her vast background in research, spanning electrochemistry, electrolyzer engineering, and materials science. She is an alumna of the Blueprint Program and a former Technology Venture Fellow with Engine Ventures. Alaina was also a Department of Energy Science Graduate Student Research (SCGSR) fellow at Berkeley National Lab, where she conducted operando X-ray spectroscopy research.

Alaina holds a PhD in Chemistry from Harvard University and a BA in Chemistry from Barnard College, Columbia University.
