Dan is an Operating Partner at Engine Ventures. Dan brings over a decade of leadership experience across business development, licensing, corporate strategy, and operations in startups and global biopharma. He has over 15 years of laboratory experience developing chemical biology platforms that have produced clinical programs, commercial products, and successful M&A exits. He currently serves as a board observer for Vaxess Technologies and Predicta Biosciences.

Dan was the first employee and VP of Corporate Strategy and BD at Bonito Biosciences, and previously served as Senior Director of BD&L at BeiGene and X-Chem Pharmaceuticals.

Dan holds a Ph.D. from the University of Colorado Boulder, and a BS from Brandeis University.
