Deepa is an Associate at Engine Ventures. Deepa brings a rich background in climate science, microbiology, and strategic communication to her work. She currently serves as board observer for Pascal, Copernic Catalysts and Blue Energy. Previously, Deepa was a consultant at Boston Consulting Group, where she worked on climate and sustainability across the clean energy transition.

Deepa holds a Ph.D. in Biological Oceanography from MIT–WHOI, where she studied marine microbes and biogeochemistry, integrating lab, field, and computational research. Deepa also earned an MS from Georgetown University and an SB in Earth Sciences from MIT.
