Madeleine is a Principal at Engine Ventures. Madeleine focuses on compute, semiconductors, photonics, and advanced AI systems, where she identifies new investments and works hands-on with portfolio companies to translate technical capability into real-world performance and scale. She currently serves as a board observer for Osmoses, Oso-Semiconductor, Sora Fuel, and T-Robotics.

Previously, Maddie was a consultant at Bain & Company. At Bain, she advised private equity and corporate clients on investments across industry sectors with a primary focus on technology, and also spent time in the Utilities and Renewables practice, working with utility companies to develop and implement integrated grid planning strategies.

Maddie holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT, an MS in Chemistry from Imperial College London as a US-UK Fulbright Scholar, and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester.
