Michelle Daubar is Partner, Head of Investor Relations & Capital Formation at Engine Ventures. With more than 20 years of experience in private markets, Michelle has played a key role in raising nearly $10 billion in institutional capital.

Prior to joining Engine Ventures, Michelle was a Partner at Oak HC/FT, where she led Investor Relations and Capital Formation and was responsible for the firm’s institutional investor relationships and fundraising efforts. During her 11-year tenure, she helped raise multiple funds and develop and expand the firm’s institutional LP base. She also oversaw Oak HC/FT’s marketing, communications and public relations efforts and supported portfolio companies on strategic communications initiatives.

Previously, Michelle was Vice President of Investor Relations & Communications at General Catalyst, where she was responsible for investor relations, fundraising, internal communications, marketing and public relations. Earlier in her career, Michelle held investor relations and marketing roles at Lighthouse Capital Partners and worked in the Private Equity group at Standard Life Investments.

Michelle was named to Kayo’s 2025 Top 25 Women in Private Equity Funds list and is a member of the Private Equity Women Investor Network (PEWIN), an organization for senior women leaders in private equity. Michelle received a Bachelor of Science degree from Suffolk University, summa cum laude.
