Jen is General Counsel at Engine Ventures. Jen supports the team on legal aspects of the firm’s operations, including portfolio company investments and exits, fund formation, ongoing fund administration and day-to-day management company operations.

Prior to joining Engine Ventures, Jen was a corporate attorney at Gunderson Dettmer, an international law firm with an exclusive focus on the innovation economy. She began her career as a corporate attorney at the international law firm Foley Hoag. During her years of law firm practice, she counseled entrepreneurs and venture capital firms on a variety of matters, including company formation, equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, public offerings, securities law matters, corporate governance, bank credit facilities, employment matters, intellectual property matters and other general business matters. Her experience spans a number of industries including biotechnology, healthcare, medical device, clean energy, climate tech, edtech, SaaS, fintech and consumer products, among others.

Jen earned a J.D. with honors from Boston College Law School and a B.A. with highest honors from Union College.
